EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Julie Guilfoil

​Q. How long have you worked at Marine Solutions? 

“Three years in May.”

Q. What is your role, and what does your job entail? 

“Drafter – I do the AutoCAD drafting for the company.”

Q. What do you like most about your job? 

“I get to work with many different people in the company in all locations. I’m a very social person, and I enjoy the variety that working with different people brings because I believe you can learn something from everyone.”

Q. What three words best describe you? 

“Happy, thankful, and outgoing.”

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time? 

“I like to spend time with family and friends. My oldest son plays college football, and the middle one plays baseball, so we spend a lot of time at their games. I also love to cook!”

Q. If given the chance, who would you like to trade places with for a day?

“The owner of a zoo. I love animals and would love to see behind the scenes – how they feed them, how they interact with them, etc.”

​Q. If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?

“Enjoy Each Day.”

Q. What advice do you have for prospective Marine Solutions candidates? 

“This is by far the best engineering company I have ever worked for. You can learn something from everyone, so take your time and put in the effort.”
