Marine Solutions, as a sub-consultant to AECOM, performed quality assurance inspection of timber substructure repairs at Piers 38 and 40 for the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority (PRPA).  Repairs included more than 4,000 hardware replacements at timber piles and pile caps. Marine Solutions inspected the repairs to verify that repair locations were correct, that the repair material conformed to the specifications, and to confirm the quality of the workmanship.  Marine Solutions developed punch-lists of deficient repair locations for contractor rework items. Field notes were collected electronically to enable quick reporting of findings.
