Marine Solutions is providing diving services to the Maryland Port Administration (MPA) under a two-year on-call service contract.   The project includes underwater inspection and reporting services at various locations at the MPA’s marine terminals.  For each task order, Marine Solutions provides inspection teams led by Maryland-registered professional engineer-divers.  As required by the contract, PE-divers perform at least fifty percent of all inspection dives.  Tasks under this contract include waterfront facility condition assessments, pre-construction inspections to determine applicable repair types and quantities, and post-construction inspection to ensure repairs are installed in accordance with plans and specifications.  Marine Solutions has inspected various structure types and materials as part of this contract, including pre-stressed concrete piles, timber piles, steel pipe piles, epoxy-filled repair jackets, cathodic protection pile jackets, and mechanical timber pile and pile caps repairs.
