Marine Solutions performed above water and underwater structural inspections of three floating test platforms to provide an assessment of the conditions as well as designs and cost estimates for repairs, improvements and re-purposing of equipment.  The inspections included the primary structural and mooring components of floating buildings, barges, platforms and landing craft utility vessels used to support various aquatic testing at the site.  Marine Solutions also performed a mooring analysis for re-positioning and re-location of the primary test platform including development of environmental and operational loading as well as load carrying capabilities of shore anchors, platform mooring fittings and mooring cables. The project assisted the activity in re-conditioning and re-purposing the platforms as well as selecting and establishing safe mooring alternatives.  The project received an overall rating of “Exceptional” by the customer.
