Marine Solutions was contracted to perform all underwater services associated with the construction of a new dam for Dams 3, 8 & 9 located on the Kentucky River.  The project consisted of constructing a new round steel sheet pile cell dam just upstream of the existing concrete dams.  Marine Solutions' underwater services included the following; hand jetting, dredging and cleaning, airlifting, underwater burning of cells after being poured with concrete, underwater welding, sealing of sheets, grouting, installing dywidag bar, set underwater diffuser blocks.  Marine Solutions has provided underwater services on over 19 cells measuring 52 & 66 foot diameter and 20 arch cells and 4 closure cells.
