Overview:

During a rapid level inspection, we found significant deterioration in the Battery Wharf platform’s timber piles/caps and concrete deck, triggering immediate load restrictions. We then supported continued Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island ferry operations by performing design-level inspections and delivering interim gangway repair designs to restore load capacity at two slips.
