Clearing the Way: Drift and Debris Removal Across Five Bridges

Our crew recently tackled a series of drift and debris removal projects, working above and below the waterline to clear bridge piers and channel areas.

Each site brought its own mix of challenges variable current and water depth, uneven debris density, and the logistics of running surface and dive crews at the same time without losing schedule. Clearing meant adapting the approach pier by pier rather than running one plan across every site.

In the end, the team removed approximately 1,225 cubic yards of drift and debris across all five locations, restoring clearance and reducing scour risk at each structure.
