Certification: This is our normal, manually input certification. These can be medical (fit to dive), outside training (boater safety course), or even just a supervisor certifying someone has completed something.
Certification (LMS): This is when our Learning Management System (LMS) will auto-complete based on the employee completing a curriculum in SuccessFactors Learning.
Certification Status
Target Certificate (0): This is a competency the employee is targeting. No data or goal has been fulfilled yet.
Planned (1): Training for this competency has been scheduled.
Expiring (2): Certification will expire in specific number of days (number specified by admin). Automatically updated based on the expiration date of the certification.
Expired (3): Certification is expired. Automatically updated based on the expiration date of the certification.
Compliant (4): Employee meets all criteria for this specific competency.
Not Applicable (99): Competency does not pertain to this employee’s role.
Possibility to Override the Target for an Employee
Previously, the employee had to obtain all competencies within a role that is assigned.
With the release it is possible to add the ‘Not Applicable’ status for an employee for a specific competency. This will make sure that the aggregated status will not be impacted when the employee is not assessed for that specific competency.
