DESCRIPTION:
Marine Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer Diver to join our team in support of inspections, engineering, design and construction for bridges, waterfront facilities, water control and navigational structures, and other types of marine structures. Candidate must have a B.S. in civil or structural engineering (M.S. preferred) and be a licensed civil or structural engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Candidate must also have certification as a commercial diver through an accredited program or military school; or have an Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) certification.
Responsibilities will vary based on experience and skills from acting as the project lead engineer to project management and leadership for various engineering and construction projects, proposal development, client relations, and technical oversight. Specific responsibilities will include:

- Structural inspections of bridges, waterfront facilities, locks, dams, and other marine and hydraulic structures.
- Structural analysis in support of bridge load ratings, structural evaluations, repair and new facility designs.
- Designs of repairs and new structures.
- Construction administration, quality assurance and project management.
- Development of reports and construction contract documents.
DEGREE REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science Degree (BSCE) in Civil or Structural Engineering
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSCE).
- Professional Engineering License.
- 5+ years of experience in the disciplines required.
- Proficient in computer skills and report writing.
- Certification as a commercial diver through an accredited program or military school preferred; or an Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) certification.
PREFERRED:
- Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MSCE)
- 10+ years of experience in the disciplines required
- Federal Highway Administration Bridge Inspection Certifications
- Structural Engineering License
- Experience with standard structural analysis software
- AutoCAD and/or Microstation proficiency
